What this means is that if you attempt to use your PhD or Certification as a credential for obtaining employment with any agency requiring a degree from an accredited institution, it will not be accepted.  However, please also remember that the “New Thought” and/or “New Age” industry is one of the fastest growing industries on the planet right now and that a credible PhD in Metaphysics, or recognition of achievement in Paranormal, Psychic, or Spiritual studies will carry weight in those circles. At any rate, you will be able to add “Dr.” to your name and your correspondence, if you choose that level of study, and you should be proud of your accomplishment. The pursuit of advanced knowledge shows great initiative on anyone’s part.
